Polyphase Network Calculator

This calculator determines optimal values for stage resistors in an N-stage polyphase filter. These filters shift the phase of a signal, and can be used to turn a single signal into two resulting signals in quadrature, or in the reverse to convert I and Q signals into one, achieving sideband suppression. As such, they are useful in receivers or transmitters.

The code uses the method described by Kevin Schmidt (W9CF) in his article Phase Shift Network Analysis and Optimization from the April, 1994 issue of QEX. This is a translation from Kevin's original FORTRAN77 code, made available with that publication.
